MICHELE STINE
PERFORMER PUPPETEER EDUCATOR
Welcome!
Hey. You made it; I was worried you got lost.

Welcome to my website; I tried to make it super professional but, there might be some derpy spots...just like, well, me. There's a whole section on the various projects I've made, a gigantic list of all the work I've done, lots of videos and photos, and I even have a way to contact me.

Or, you could just look at the menu above to figure all this out, because you are an intelligent and capable human being.
I'm Michele Stine and I like ice cream, peanut butter, and dogs. Have any one of those things with you and I'll be your friend; have a combination of them and I'll never leave your side.
I'm a performer. I like puppets. A lot. They make people believe in magic again, and have the power to make you cry, like rip-you-heart-out-kind of cry.

I also REALLY like being an idiot on stage. A lot of people call that clown.
No, not like that terrible movie, IT. But like the clowns in the circus, who make you laugh and giggle your little asses off. In fact, I went to circus school and studied it!

Okay, okay, I guess I should have a grown-up/professional bio too. Here ya go:

Michele Stine has toured nationally with Theatre Unspeakable and a self-produced tour of six shows with A.O. The Traveling Trunk Show. They've directed a national tour of Ceteology, and co-created/co-directed a dance theatre show about the joys of aging. Michele has been puppeteering for over fifteen years and clowning for over ten years.

Anyways, enough garbbly gook about me. Poke around the rest of the site and check out some the really awesome stuff I've done.....crap, now I just sound pretentious. That's not what I- ugh, you know what I mean.

A solo clown show about a janitor, who finds herself in front of an audience. She’s left with nothing but her fear, some trash, and a stage to try to find the cure for loneliness! Always, Sometimes, Maybe is about desperation, feeling alone, and ultimately finding community using dance, puppetry, and a sprinkle of magic. All ages are welcome to dive into the trash!
